- Wind: Light winds at 6 mph in the morning, increasing as the afternoon storms approach.
- Water Temperature: A warm 84°F, keeping pelagic species like kingfish and grouper active.
Tides and Fishing Times
- High Tide: 9:30 AM at 2.3 feet
- Low Tide: 4:30 PM at 0.4 feet
The morning high tide is the best time to target grouper, snapper, and amberjack at Middle Grounds (28°30'N, 84°00'W), while Egmont Key Reef (27°36.32'N, 82°45.35'W) is great for kingfish and Spanish mackerel.
